Make no mistake, this is a very special Bradman momento. The greatest cricketer of all time, Sir Donald Bradman, scored 974 runs in the 1930 Ashes series averaging an incredible 139.14. This remains the record for the most number of runs scored in an Ashes series. Before he died, Bradman agreed to commemorate this remarkable achievement by personally signing and numbering 974 uniquely presented cricket balls with a royalty payable to the Bradman Trust on the sale of each ball. These cricket balls are indeed a rare opportunity to collect a significant piece of Ashes history from the man who is without question regarded as the most outstanding batsman of all time. Bradman himself had the highest regard for this series as he said ‘…this ball is the only cricket ball project that will ever be produced with my authority or that of the Bradman Trust’.
